This beautiful restaurant, which is preferred to be called as Alchi Kitchen offers flavoursome food. Skyu and Chhutagi (both barley-pasta shapes in vegetable stew) are labouriously made to order in this open kitchen, the Khambir (bread) is made in the clay oven. Alchi Kicthen is also famous for its chutneys, apricot jams and desserts.
Do try their breakfasts and if you just want to have salads, good news Alchi Kitchen makes some out-of-the-world salads.
The ambience of this place is calm, serene filled with intervals of giggles and laughter of the women working in the kitchen. The food cooked here is made with a lot of patience and love. Watching the women cook food is in itself an art in the making!
