When travelling solo, there are many things to pack. ‘Music’ tops the list! Why? Well, as it is rightly said, music is food for the soul. When travelling to newer places and terrains, music can be our best companion. As we are adjusting to the place and gradually making a connect with it, music plays a great role in altering our mood accordingly. It balances our energies. Make sure that you do have a good mix of the music you like. One day you might feel like listening to something soft, the other day it might be hard rock, metal… so better be music ready in your journey!
And it’s not that you should have your music CDs packed or downloaded in a pen drive only when travelling solo, but even while road tripping in a group. After all, you can’t keep chatting all the way. Especially when travelling to Ladakh, conversations are one thing that would hardly happen because the journey will enthrall and mesmerise you so much that you wouldn’t feel like talking. Music in the background does wonders; it accentuates the whole majestic feeling of the place.
